I prefer dog and don't like cats that much.

I hate cats, cause we did have one years ago, but it was pretty lazy, didn't want to do anything but eat, sh*t and eat again.

I like dogs cause I think the current family dog, Blackie, which is a 18 month old labradore crossed with a kelpy, is a bloody good dog. Very energetic. We take it to the building sites where I work and he sure does make time go quicker. He can even climb ladders, he isn't scared of heights (I'm talking, 8m scaffold and he walks on a single plank not scared). Everybody that sees him, likes him. He pisses on the tyres of crummydores more often than others ;) (more than likely pure coincidence) He is playful for everyone. Even people he hasn't seen before. Although when he was younger he would "escape" from work, he has learnt to stay with us all day, untied. He also made a habit of jumping our fence (1.8m high). We then put an extra 1m on top of that (green mesh and wire etc) and he still managed to escape, but in the last few weeks has stayed put.

He listens now. you sayd "in the truck", he jumps in the truck. You whistle, he comes to you from wherever he may be. At home you say "in you house" or In your box" and he goes to his house. You just say "up" and point at anything and he'll get up or jump on it. Funnily the other day, he was across the road with the builder. as a joke I said "Blackie, piss on his tyres and come here" and guess what, He actually pissed on the builders car tyres (a brand new Falcon RTV) and came to me. Seriously funny stuff.

Oh and another good one. The owner of one of the houses we were working on was talking to his daughter. Blackie (who was about 4-5 months old at the time), walked upto the owner and pissed on his leg. The owners daughter saw the dog coming, getting ready to do it and she didn't say anything. Yet another funny moment. The owner just said "Oh well, now I have to go home and change into somethine else" and started laughing himself.

Well I Like dogs.

Had a german sheppard for 15 years in the nd had to put him down he broke my heart.up until 14 years was a picture of health never had any problems. then in the last year had 2 strokes came good but then he started walking a bit wobbly with the rear legs apparently with the large dogs the spines tend to weaken as they get older but the clincher was when his front paw swelled up to double the size we rang the vet he said 3 out of four legs have very little feeling in them he cant get up the longer he lays the more unconfortable he will be due to circulation a week later we put him down buried in the backyard(Rest in Peace Prince) Everybody who new him was in tears he only wanted to serve. Went 2 months without a sheppard and comin home to an empty house was murder. wifes aniversary perfect opportunity she had seen an alaskan mamalute in a pet shop and hinted about it but it was female(male dogs are so much better)so for her anniversary came zeus born in the same month as prince got him with papers (even though prince didnt have any he was no less a sheppard) 10 months old now just started cokin his led to pee yesterday. (Prince born 5/5/88 died 8/5/03)

Nothing Like A German Sheppard (Zeus 18/5/03 better get at least 20years or else)

love cats, love dogs

only smaller dogs though... my friend has a little jack russel crossed with pommemiran or whatever it is... them really furry things, a show dog or whatever

and its the coolest dog I ever seen, so loyal to his owner, one time my friend past out from drinkin too much, there were many strangers around that if anyone came near my friend, the little doggie attacked them, funniest think I ever seen.

I like cats, reson being that if you train them right when little, they can be your best friend, or your worst enemy...

mine is a monster cat, somehow he is scared of strangers, whenever he sees somone he dont know, he runs the hell away.

but yea, cats and dogs both pretty cool with me
