looks like offshore

In the pics l have seen of offshore it looks to be somewhere between blueprint and Narooma Blue. That colour in sunlight looks like a strange mix of blue and faded purple, the sort of colour you would imagine your grandmother choosing.

l need a pic in sunlight.

Well now,

I think we have cleared this issue up

That Mr Mondie is Offshore!

Same as the Ford Aus Loaner I'm Driving.

I thought it was an ok colour for a Luxury model, but I certainly wouldn't want it on an XR.

Oh, ok then......... :w00t2:

So you are STILL in a loaner? Did you ever get anywhere with the changeover to a GT, or were Ford not playing the game at all?

Mate, at the moment I don't think that Ford knows where they are!

P.S Ford is normally found in Victoria, but other infestations may appear elsewhere in this country and even New Zealand!

They haven't officially replied to any written or verbal request or comment.

I guess that is their right......

Basically my car is still under repair, and I've been driving this BA Ghia since March the 3rd, with no end currently in sight.

I will hand them another letter on Tuesday with my proposal in writing this time, hopefully they will choose to reply this time.

I would like to think that I won't get the same "kind" of car twice in a row, but the lure of a GT may just be too much!

Thinking Lightning Strike w/Orange stripes........

Good luck with it all Cam :w00t2:

l admire your patience, l dont think l would have been able to keep my calm for this long. The Ghia must feel like its yours now :w00t2:

Good choice on GT colour, white with stripes would also have to be right up there if l was to do it again.

Cheers Simon

I just ordered an Envi XR6T after seeing one in the flesh ... I like Blueprint but since it is now not available I was torn on a choice but after seeing an XR6 Ute and Sedan in Envi I was hooked ...

At least it is something different as Blueprint XR's are dime a dozen ...

Just glad to get a T :)

Jteale, congrats for going with the colour you like and not being swayed by majority opinion.

One thing I've noticed about Ford metallic colours is that the metallic particles in the paint appear larger than on most other cars. This seems to give a coarser texture to the colour finish and makes it more reactive to different light - sunlight vs shade etc. Anyone else noticed this or am I imagining things?
