The car is truely alive and on its toes now.I have only driven home from work via the shops and all I can say is the ute is a different car ... power at all levels and itching to be pushed - I remember making a comment that I felt first gear should last longer from a standing start - but now with that much more power put to the road initially it is suited perfectly - that was the first thing I noticed!! I must also note that the car idles so much smoother than stock and SOUNDS FANTASTIC!Correct me if I am wrong (maths is evil) ... but 170 @120kph to 236 @126kph is approx. a 39% (?) increase in power to the wheels ... and you feel every bit!! I guess this compares pretty well given the pulp fuel up here.I am totally impressed with the package as a whole and the exhaust is swoit ... my guageworks guage now has something real to do shooting up to about 9 pound. (10 max?) The bov needs slight adjustment and as I drove into my street I heard a change in the bov and closer inspection found that one of the big black hoses running from the intercooler has come off slightly ... I have wiggled it back on and adjusted the clamp but nothing a screw clamp won't fix (I remember reading a few posts on here with sim. problem)I have not had a chance to really test it (swmbo was in the car) but the long weekend will give me a good chance to really see what has changed about the way the car drives. Sounds like the utes heaps of fun to drive now :lol: I'd be interested to see what RWKW figure you've got on Bob Hawkins Dyno Dynamic's Dyno in Shoot 6 Mode for that's a much more accurate reading and the most commonly used.Please let me know how everything goes this W/end especially if (hopefully it won't) .... any stalling or idling issues arise for the majority of XR6T's like to stall once they've been kitted for some reason?Hope you have a great long W/end Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And yes I will get it dyno'd at in Shoot 6 as I want to compare to my mates Rex - but I am glad I have real power graphs so the real percentage increase can be seen - just proves what I feel! Probably in a fortnight or so after the car settles in. No stalling issues yet at all however my ute has never had any of these issues yet so hopefully things should be fine. (touch wood). She is idling like a sewing machine now.Like I said I have only driven to work and home twice so wil know more soon enough! I'd love to know what power the APS Stage III would produce on 95-96 RON Fuel ... have asked Peter in a post I did here but he's not at all forthcoming!Can you ask him for me next time your on here since your a known APS customer?Might get some answers .... you never know :lol: Actually I recall the APS stage III car running on 96 Ron premium unleaded at the Adelaide Ford/Expensive Daewoo Car Show and it developed I think by memory 411hp and was beaten by a Nizpro Stage II which was running 98 Ron Fuel!Maybe someone can verify that for me? Would also be good to get an idea of a comparison your car on the Dynolog dyno as that is what FPV use. That way we can get a couple of cars and see how closely they compare.
