As soon as I saw his post, I thought... "I wonder how long before Dags posts his favourite pic...". 8)

On an insurance note...

I young guy I know... 22 yr old, has been working and saving and spending on his car. It's a Nissan GTR. I've not seen this thing yet but apparently it's insured for $120K (confirmed by a mutual friend). His premium is $9000/yr with a $7500 excess. Some people have no idea. :spoton:

Oh... and the funniest part... he still hasn't "gotten around" to getting his license. Mwhahahaha.

Hmmmm...$9,000 a year on insurance for a $125,000 car that he can't drive?

Tell him I got this reallllly big bridge for sale and he can have it cheap as :)

Oh my god that is a :censored::pooh: load of money! all at the age of 22! can't complain

My Pursuit is now a year old (May9th) Anyhow, I checked the AAMI policy last week before paying again ($1040) Car description reads BA XR8 ute 5 speed!!

I rang and informed that its a PURSUIT Not an XR8... On Hold.. Waiting Waiting.. AMI comes back and says .. "Oh sorry, when you insured last May, we didn't have FPV vehicles on our databank".. "But its all ok, we'll send you out another policy with Pursuit on it.. Only it is NOW $1690 !!!!!..I asked, "what would have happened in event of a claim? Her response."No probs.. We would have honoured it"! (I F****g BET??)

This is remembering I also have an XR6T, house & contents, rating 1 (for life) with AAMI & no drivers under 30! I give up, honestly!

AAMI - yes well.

When I changed my policy over to the new T I realised that they had the wrong rego number and model of my previous vehicle, and then they forgot to include the endorsements on the new policy (very concerning as I am under 25).

I will not even get into all the dramas with getting a certificate of currency!

All is well though, and they are pretty good in sorting out claims with their valet service and all.

AAMI wont insure me cause I'm under 25 and own a T :ermm:

Went through Just Cars instead which so far have been awesome.

They stuffed up last time and gave me insurance on an XR6 when they shouldn't have, and because I have been a good boy they let me swap over to a T - otherwise I would have been out of luck and with Just or Shannons etc.

Yeah - they origionally quoted me for T with the pricing for an N/A. They then told me that that was a mistake and I was all like....oh dear....lets watch that premium sky rocket..... :ermm: ended up only being $30 more - I'm happy.
