Don't think they come as an option new. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/9934-transmission-cooler/page/3/#findComment-109130 Share on other sites

It is fitted in-line with the current system so in effect it significantly increases the cooling capacity of the current system without chaging the flow paths. THis means less heat is being expended into the radiator heat exchanger which is already a heavy duty XR8 radiator (standard fit on all XR6Ts).Searched for darn recipt and nothing found yet. Was about $500 fitted with new Penrite fully synthetic fluid. Fairly lengthy job requiring front end removal and replacment.Regret no photos as the front area is a tight fit to ensure that it is in the airlfow along with intercooler, radiator etc. It does not appear impact the airlfow to radiator sufficiently to show on running temp. This was fitted as a precaution to assure longevity of transmission system as opposed to addressing an established problem. You can Pm me if you need more detail or where fitted.Dingah Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/9934-transmission-cooler/page/3/#findComment-136863 Share on other sites
