Alrighty, this post goes out to the freaking fool SOB who owns a Phantom XR6T (not a very good description...but wait...there's more), whom I also have met today driving along Dandenong Road (eventually exiting left into Glenferrie Rd). First, I ran into this nice look Phantom XR6T, he stopped at the traffic junction between Dandenong Rd and Chapel Street two lanes to my right. When the lights went green, I didn't even go hard at all (I went really slow...I think it was 30kph on a 70kph road), coz I wanted to take another look at the beauty, or even perhaps say Hi to the driver (congratulate him on getting a really nice car). But guess what? He got caught behind in the traffic and when he eventually managed to drive up behind me, he decided to switch abruptly to the left and blow me away. WTF? I was thinking....hey...that wasn't very friendly. I then got an opportunity to drive up behind him again and before I could even look out for a Forum sticker, he sped off again....

Please my dear idiot friend, when you see a debadged (debadged coz I'm waiting for my turbo badges to arrive) AU Falcon XR with a rear that looks exactly like a TS50, please don't think that its there only for show.

Of course I obliged and joined in the fun, but this dude had other agendas on his mind coz he zipped in and out of traffic causing heaps of danger to cars beside him...and at one point even had to hit the brakes real hard just to stop in time. C'mon, all this while, I was just cruising closely behind him, without even waking up my "eagerly wanting to kick his ass' turbo. Awww....that is silly. Please think about it the next time you try to blow another Ford on the road. You're driving a bloody Ford for christ sake! Not a Expensive Daewoo or some ricey Jap car. And please, you've got a realy nice car, please drive like you know how to drive it and not some kid who stole his Dad's car keys and have only got ten minutes before his Dad reaches home from work :D

And if you want to know, please don't try me, it'll just make you feel bad about having the XR6T. Some may say that I'm being too sensitive, but when if it happened to you, you'll know I'm not. No offence to the many other owners of XR6Ts here on this board. The XR6T is a bloody good car, NOT when it lands into the wrong hands :nugget:

And if you (Moderator) find this post offensive, please remove it. I'm just sick of idiots like these on the roads. Don't mind if it was a Expensive Daewoo driver (woo hoo...that would be fun!!!)...but when its one of your own...

I agree with you about one thing...ford driver's should stick together and act sensibly towards eachother on the road...that didnt sound very friendly at all !

Wasn't it you Jesmal who replied to my post about my XR6T being blown away by your AU (not quite stock) ?? I agree that it is silly driving like a lunatic but when you start talking about whose car is faster than whose, you really are inviting that sort of behaviour.

I'm sure there will be guys boosting and cooling and tweaking their XR6Ts in the near future then maybe you will be eating humble pie !!! Take a chill pill and don't worry about them ... Just worry about you.

We are all here to talk about our XR6Ts not who can beat who.

I totally agree with Robbo's comment. I have come across a black XR6 Turbo who tried to race me a few weeks back.. after i slowed down to give him the thumbs up.. I think its just a waste of time. We are driving a very nice Ford and dont need to show off to each other. Not only that but it makes you look like a real d**khead especially when we have the same car.. (even though i have the exhaust etc changed). Have respect for each other before idiots like these cause accidents and either damage your car or seriously injure someone.

Errrm...Robbo...Dude....what's the problem? Did I say that? I don't go around saying whos's faster than who....I remembered that I said "don't assume the XR6T will kick another cars ass (in that case I was referring to a BA XR8)" just becoz you've got a Turbo...that's all I said. Please read carefully and don't put words in my mouth. My belief is that one should not say who is faster...nothing else.

So pleazzzzzzzzzz....read carefully. Jeeeeeezzz..... You're swinging the discussion to another direction....

This was meant for that particular driver. I'm just saying to him that if you try to blow someone away and that person does not fight back really hard, it does not mean you're the king coz someday you're gonna regret even trying. This statement was meant for that particular driver and not all XR6T owners....what do you think I am? CRAZY? I love this forum and I plan to stay around, not get kicked out and banned for being a total "a-hole".

Explanation: This comment does not sound offensive at all, or am I wrong? I'm just saying that just in case I offend some of the XR6T owners....coz the post was meant for that particular D**KHEAD (as CJF mentioned).

Mannn...give me a break dudes. I have not in any place said anything along the lines of "XR6Ts...watch out for my car coz I'm going to kick you arse!!!!" I've not said that in any place. I love the BAXR6T and if given the finances, I'd buy one for endless modding. Sure you guys can go mod your turbos and it'll definitely produce hell lots more power. I'm not bothered by it, who is anyway? I'd love to see more modded Ts actually. Please get this straight, I love my car, I don't think of it as an arse-kicker of any of the Fords...maybe Holdens...but definitely not against Fords.

I agree Dagabond....but...but...the XR6T is such a beautiful car, a fine work of art, true beast in sheeps clothing....and it's really a pity to see one blowing off another Ford for no reason...wouldn't mind seeing one kick a HSC GTS's arse....that'd be cool.
