HE said my car was pinging in mid range??? Pity I had no idea who anyone was either????? Still a great arvo though. Oh, I was the guinea pig too, first one.I was over the moon with the power at the wheels, considering my old 200kW AUXR8 made 130 at the wheels... 186 is amazing!!! :D Anyway, what was surprising was seeing how much extra power was made by lifting the top of the air filter up... a Manual I think PSI04L's, peaked at 201kw, and when the air box lid was lifted up made 206kw. A 5kW increase!!! I think in the end, with a pod filter it increased to 204kW?? I'm sure more will be said about this.Given that the ECU did not stop the power due to the extra air into the motor, I suspect given a good 3" (or 3.5") exhaust we should see an increase too.End of the day... No mods to the red one?Also, was the dyno on shootout mode, which gives really a higher-than actaul reading?Also I agree, would be good to arrange a dyno day in Melbourne somewhere for the gang down here in el mehico! I thought it was about a 30% loss from flywheel to rear wheels with an auto.Dont know what the loss is through a manual though???
