greetings all

I to am interested in fitting a sh*t light to the BA's

there would have to be a wire running from the computer to the tacho that you could tap into

for those that are interested "GIZZMO" make a sh*t light that works with an orginal tacho & will enable it to have a recall

regards

rod

Question for ya...how do you set your rev limit?

The rev limit is set by the computer!

The shift light shift point is adjustable via a knob on the front of the tachometer.

If a shift light is being installed without the tacho then the shift point is set by the little things they call pills that you can plug into it. eg 5800, 6000 rpm.

Sorry I don't know how to wire them up and I don't think it would be easy because the electronics in the BA works on a network type bus communication linking the PCM and ICC etc..

The shift light that have in my car runs off a Pro series G-Tech that's stuck to my windscreen.

Xede single-stage shift light - which retails for just AUD$59.95!

A tri-colour shift light (which illuminates red, green and blue) is also available at extra cost, along with a high current version that’s capable of switching solenoids at preset rpm.

Sold at ChipTorque. :ta:
