When I sometimes go manaully thorugh the gears if I leave it in first and rev the s**t out of the car it will automatically change to 2nd gear. 2nd gear will the bounce on the rev limiter without changing well at least I hope its the limiter Does the new T auto do this feature as well? To help me protect my car from my stupidity. Wayne

Guest born_blue Guests Posted 29/03/04 04:44 AM Share Posted 29/03/04 04:44 AM The manual mode should have been on the drivers side fo the auto slot. It would have made manual changing much better. I am sure ford could have designed the indicators to make sense with this arrangement. I use the auto most of the time as I am mostly in traffic or on the freeway. If I need to slot into a gap then manual is the way to go. The kickdown is far too slow.
