I havent got my car yet! so I can't answer the question but I do have another question.

I am upgrading from a VR commodore. When I sometimes go manaully thorugh the gears if I leave it in first and rev the s**t out of the car it will automatically change to 2nd gear. 2nd gear will the bounce on the rev limiter without changing well at least I hope its the limiter :beeer:

Does the new T auto do this feature as well? To help me protect my car from my stupidity.

The manual mode should have been on the drivers side fo the auto slot. It would have made manual changing much better. I am sure ford could have designed the indicators to make sense with this arrangement. I use the auto most of the time as I am mostly in traffic or on the freeway. If I need to slot into a gap then manual is the way to go. The kickdown is far too slow.
