Saleman told me that it would be delivered on the 22nd March.Got a call from said salesman on 23rd March telling me that the car was waiting for a part at FPV.In his initial call on around the 18th March I was told the car was getting the interior installed at the moment and would eb heading over to "FPV" for the tuning. So I have some questions. Is the standard six installed in the the car in the initial build and the turbo added by FPV later? What "tuning" is done by FPV if the turbo is infact already fitted to the engine before install in the car.Just trying to figure out what process the car goes through when its being built for interests sake.Anyways I am now expecting my baby to arrive next tuesday ThanksWayne Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/9811-a-question-of-the-production-process/ Share on other sites

It is missing the intercooler, turbo plumbing etc. They have a standard six inlet pipe to the engine, bypassing the (incomplete) turbo assembly.Once at FPV, the intercooler is installed, the standard six inlet system is removed, and the turbo inlet tract and crossover, as well as intercooler piping, is installed.
