Check this out. I emailed these guys ages ago but I can't remember a price. I'm pretty sure it was cheaper than the Ford system and you can install it yourself. Also, no ugly bullet holes in the back of your car!!

I just had a chat to these guys. The system is available thru Repco for $250 and you can install it yourself, or get someone to do it.

I asked about front mounting and you can do it and you'd need to install a switch to turn it on when needed, as the reverse one is activated when you go into reverse and gets power from the reverse lights.

Looks very interesting, you can get the front and back of your car covered for less than the factory one and no holes.....hmmm....

Or a guide wife!!!!

If that's her picture in your avatar I'm not sure how effective a guide she would be - I'd be smashing into walls.

Hi Guys,

I am developing an interface to connect between your factory fitted reversing system and the premium ICC.

This will give you a graphic representation of how close you are to an object with more accuracy than just the beeper. The display will show distance from each sensor (4 of them) and beeper will remain the same.

This should be a very easy add on to your vehicle.

I will keep you informed.

Cheers.

(An aftermarket kit will also be developed using the Bosch Park Pilot system.)
