What is a pully kit?? I noticed go fast bits supply them for alot of turbo cars so I guess the T has some sought of pully kit too??

Wonder if APS will bring somthing out, maybe its not worth it??

Just what do they do even??

they look pretty & if you stretch them weally tight they make sweet "blown" sound until you tire of it.

I think you mean a underdrive pully kit.

They essentially make the anceliery (alternator, powersteering) spin at a lower RPM so they draw less engine power.

They are good for about 10kw

I don't believe that a pully kit is designed to lower the rpm of your anceliery components. Other wise you would loose efficiency of your alternator and water pump etc. A pully kit introduces lighter weight pullies to reduce load on the engine.

They do lower ancillary speeds, that's why they are called underdrive pulleys :lol:

l dont think there is much of a speed reduction but its enough to decrease the power drain on the motor. Manufacturers tend to be very conservative with the gearing design for ancillary power requirements so there are opportunities to trim the fat so to speak.
