Guest Guests Posted 06/04/04 10:23 PM Share Posted 06/04/04 10:23 PM I did the pipe under the headlight trick,K&N filter, seemed ok.Put the stock air filter in for a ford reprograming and the bloody thing went better(before the reprograming) so it makes you wonder how smart the ECU set up is.vik

Posted 06/04/04 11:27 PM Share Posted 06/04/04 11:27 PM If you're not interested in doing a home made intake it could be worth sending Peter from APS a PM. APS are selling their intercooler as a stand alone item and its possible Peter might look at selling the air intake in the same way. It never hurts to ask.Geea. :banghead:

I know this could lead to another difference in views with Peter. But it is my experience and others that I know as well, that by adding a 2nd air intake there is a noticable gain in performance.Geea.

That is a definate YES I agree.. when I put the second air intake in.. there was a definate incrtease in power... I feel that I am now use to this little extra and now need some more power.... any other cheap options.... or should I go for one of the after market kits (unichip, exede)?? Guest rabbit Guests Posted 07/04/04 07:29 AM Share Posted 07/04/04 07:29 AM Gents, will any of these (XR8 intake, under-headlight intake, BMC/K&N) mods substantially improve my n/a XR6? Has anyone experienced any of these mods on their n/a XR6
