Dont worry about the cardigan thing, I have Merc Silver and don't wear a cardi.

People on here that dont have HgAg are just jealous that the fastest T in australia is HgAg, topping 307km/h.

... and the quickest T currently in Australia is Blood Orange (0-400m in 10.98 sec, the C&V one). What's your point ? :hiwelcome:

@ ByeSS

Welcome to the club. If you like the T now, wait till it runs in nicely and the computer figures out your driving style. Then your in for the best drive around.

What colour is the quickest UTE? .........

can someone help out.

curious ;)

Heard some strange sounds when my wife was reversing into a parking spot on full lock - a grating sound?

What you need to do is turn the steering wheel from lock-to-lock about eight times. A little air has snuck into the steering column and doing the lock-to-lock thing apparently gets rid of it.

Oh and :hiwelcome: aboard the XR6T Express!

BTW, we want to see lots of :smilielol:

My point is no other T can go as fast as this HgAg T and probably never will and judging by your defensive behavior you too are a bit jealous of this fact and had to back up the blood orange colour by saying its quicker then the HgAg to the 400m mark. I am only defending my colour because it is incorrectly refered to as a old man colour.

And just to keep the thread off-topic ... I think the fastest ute is Silhouette, or maybe black ... it was pretty dark and my eyesight is failing ... but not enough to buy HAgg <_<:nyaah:

Ok, let's go to NT and try to go 307km/h legally there. Let's make sure there are no stray kangaroos or a bloody wombat :). Atleast with the quicker 0-400 you can have fun at every traffic light you stop at ;)

Note to admins: Maybe there should be a "colour wars" section on the site :) Alot of harmless fun never hurt anyone ;P

On the subject of "older drivers" driving whatever. From what I've seen at the cruises is that all sorts of people, young and old, drive the T's. Certainly something I didn't envisage when I bought my T. A good car is a good car whatever the colour.

BTW, maybe change your sig colour to grey. ;)

whizzer, point taken re the finish of the VX - the interior of the cabin, boot and under the hood was probably finished a little better than the XR, but I have to say that I think the interior design and quality feel is better in the XR.

GlennXR6T, thanks for the URL for the build photos. It looks like I'll need to wait a few days for the paperwork to reach Ford, the car doesn't show as having been sold yet.

Lord Cyric, thanks for the tip about the steering, I'll try it ASAP. I'll post some photos of the car soon.

Went for another blast tonight - It's amazing how quick and smooth the auto performance mode is, compared with manual mode. It's nicely done!

Time to read more forum threads...
