sounds like marketing to me ;) ask him how it goes when tehy do have issues and how painful the process is to deal with something like that.

I take your point. I don’t think it’s really marketing if they aren’t supplying the box though. I was just asking what their experience is of NA boxes in turbo cars…

 

I’m still leaning towards trying to find a turbo one for ok money but from what I’ve read I reckon an NA one that’s had a bit of a service and look over might be ok for my stock to slightly modded Ute.

An na 6 speed trans will be fine unless you intend to make lots of power or flog it relentlessly, and if it does crap out it's only a few hundred bucks for a new one. You could easily get a second hand turbo trans that is stuffed and that's a whole lot more money to replace. Also a turbo trans is much more likely to be stuffed because turbo :dancing:
