Dual zone climate control

Hi, I've got a 2009 g6e turbo and am having issues with the dual zone climate control.

Both sides works fine when on cold setting but when I try and put heaters on only the driver side works. The passenger side keeps blowing cold air. I tried putting a new airmix shaft in but it still didn't fix the problem.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

sounds like the HIM is faulty... hard to say for sure, but it's likely an electronic issue if you're replaced the mixer shaft...

did the HIM get coded at all to match the car?

check the plumbing for the vents/hoses and make sure there's not a diversion of air happening relative to those vents and the cold/hot system.

Didnt know it needed to be coded. It's every vent, floor, face etc on the passenger side that stay cold so that's why I thought it had to be the flap controlled by airmix shaft on that side couldn't be working which is why I replaced shaft. Maybe the shutter itself is broken? I just didn't want to have to take dash right out to check it

I honestly can't remember if it needs to be coded to the car... probably not... but yeah, I'd imagine checking the hardware like shutters etc is your next port of call.
