Hi everyone,

I have a fg mk2 ute naturally aspired which I’m converting to turbo. The engine is built to 1000hp and has a twin plate copper/ ceramic clutch rated to 1200hp. I’m a bit strapped for cash so I’m leaving the rear end stock for now just wondering how much the tail shaft and the m80 diff can handle I can’t find any info anywhere cheers

You've built the engine but not the rest of the driveline after the clutch?... it's going to be difficult to keep those CV's in their housings and the tailshaft will probably be toast at anything above 300rwkw... never mind your driveshafts   but that's a pretty conservative estimation.
