Hi guys, for such a little question, it's a long explantion. I have a 2005 BA XR6 turbo ute. Originally when I bought this 2nd hand 17 years ago it was an V8, had been stolen or some such and rebuilt into a turbo 6, been a great vehicle in the time I've owned it. I decided in my infinite wisdom to put a 30mm front sway bar on her but noticed the other day that the brackets that connect to the chassis are a wee bit bent.  Can someone possibly tell me what the diamater would be of the factory original XR8 front sway bar as my local Ford dealer has no information.

Regards, Bryan.

The OEM front swaybar is 24mm and the rear swaybar is 19mm (or 24.4mm & 19.3mm on the vernier caliper, if you wanted to get to one decimal place :) )

Thank you very much for that, just one query, as mine is a ute, does it have a rear bar or were you referring to a sedan? Also do I go back to the 24mm on the front or go to a 27mm for just a little stiffness as opposed to the 30mm that's on there?

don't think the ute has a rear one... not as knowledgeable on utes because I've never owned one... I was referring to a sedan :) You can go with whatever width you want, realistically.
