Ultrex 4" Exhaust

Hi guys,

 

I'm looking at going for a 4" system on my BF but haven't been able to find many options on the market.

 

Curious to see if anyone on this forum has any feedback on the Ultrex 4" turbo back exhaust?

Ultrex is a direct chinese ripoff of the old nizpro one that nizpro bought from china and marketed (at least I think so, but I don't have any proof, so allegedly...). It's a quality exhaust, but very difficult to fit how you want it to even when bought from nizpro... so I guess the ultrex would be even more likely to be difficult to fit, but still be a quality chunk of chinesium metal exhaust.

 

A 3.5" or twin 2.5/2.25 is plenty on a BF unless chasing ridiculous power anyway when you should be going for a custom 4"  

 

Also, by the time you buy a high quality 4" exhaust and get it fitted properly, you may as well have paid for a fully custom one

Nizpro exhausts are piss easy to fit and adjust.

 

Call Simon from Nizpro and ask him if they still sell them.

 

You can fit it yourself in 2 hours.

@bossmang funny that because I just bought 2 nizpro 4inch vband clamps directly from them, delt with Simon.

 

sure they aren't doing Falcons anymore but Simon  will sell you spares if he has them.

 

The DSR lads tell me some parts still exist, just depends on what mood Simon is in, and what's available.

My FG had a 4 inch Ultrex on it when I bought it that I swapped for a quieter Manta. On a quiet day you could hear it start up from the neighbours a little over 2km away. The Ultrex had a better clearanced dump pipe and hung fairly straight, but did sit low. Also it was beaten to sh*t, had smashed v-clamps, dented mufflers and a couple of cracks because it reduced the ground clearance by 0.5-1 inch.

I fitted a 4" Xforce. Not the easiest job in the world getting a 4" exhaust over the rear cradle. Lots of shops don't like doing it and will tell you only 3.5" is possible. Don't believe them.

I had a xforce 4inch fitted to my fg ute donkeys ago, obviously plenty of room, hang too low, scraped everything, quality was not good but sounded good (I was happy with sound). I used my own cat though as the xforce one was sh*t. 

 

if I had my time again would have gone the nizzy system or if buying now would go DSR system today.

 

other options are venom and manta
