Hey guys, thought I would be clever and drop the sump of the trans and change the filter, gasket and oil change. However, this BA ute I bought has suffered from a little bit of rust underneath before I bought it.

Long story short. 7 bolts removed fine, but 2 one one side have broken / snapped. Tried easy outs, with no success ( this may have just made it worse).

Anyone know if I should get a mobile mechanic here in Adelaide, or just tow the b**stard down to the local mechanic?

You need some who specialises in that feild now . Like this guy

I don't know if he's any good just looked on Google for broken bolt remover. Ps might be expensive. Is the bolts broken past the sump or do you have some thread left if you remove the sump. If so you might be able to get vice grips on tight as possible and lock them in position and care fully spin out or option 2 ring someone like the number I've given you
