Tom TF New Member 3 Member For: 10m 18d Posted 30/11/23 08:14 AM Share Posted 30/11/23 08:14 AM FG XR50 Immobiliser Issue: Hey guys, car has been driving perfectly fine, but recently came up with an immobiliser issue. First and second times, fiddled a bit and got it to start again, but now the third time it's completely grounded. The dash says "System Comms fault" and "Immobiliser" and won't start. Battery is 1 month old, we also tested another battery, same issue. Did all the various things, locked, unlocked, fuses, relays etc etc. Anyone have any ideas? Really greatly appreciated this is doing my head in. Just a few notes: *the spare battery we tried was around like 450 or 550 CCA, definitely below 650 but can't remember exactly. *The original battery (1 month old) was a supercharge auto gold plus battery 650CCA. *Whenever the issue has occurred, I have left it out in the rain. On dry days it never had the issue. Now, after the third attempt even if its dry it doesn't work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
