I am however slowly building the modifications on my car right now, that do not need tuning such as, intake, intercooler, catback etc. I was wondering if I could run external gate on stock tune for a few months before I get my dyno. I plan on just changing the rear housing to a pulsar one and running a hypergate 45. I was wondering if this would cause any issues or is safe to run. Cheers. It might hit boost cut in which case it'll just go brrrr when it comes on boost. There's enough fuel in a stock tune to account for more compressor flow but I wouldn't try running a gtx42 or larger. So short answer is maybe, recommendation is not to, if you know your sh*t aka you're a fully sick tuna, you might make it work with the right gate spring and combo of mods. A full exhaust will not work for example as it'll flow too much, which will reduce back pressure in the manifold, which will keep the gate shut for longer, which will make more boost. Finally you can definitely fit it all and if it goes brrrr you'll have to drive around off boost until it gets tuned.
