Transplant - Covering All Bases.

I had a BF Typhoon engine that was set to go in to a Mkiii Cortina.

Life got in the way and I had to sell both.

I'm lucky enough to have found a complete G6Et (2014, if that's of any relevance).

Ideally, so that I don't abandon the plan again, I'd like a simple straight forward conversion.

However, if I (undoubtedly will) get ambitious again, and conjure up a more complicated plan for an older car, what do I need to cover all bases?

I need is An Idiots Guide To Barra Conversion; the finer details I can work through later, but before I dismantle and discard the body, what parts do I need from the donor car to overcome all shortfalls or gaps in tech?

Sorry, terribly worded, but such is the life of a busy Full Time Parent!

My windows of opportunity to work on the project are regular, but very sporadic.

Just make sure you get all of the loom and driveline and it'll work in whatever platform :)... everything else is relevant to the platform, e.g. engine mounts, driveshaft length etc
