So I have a Falcon Xr6 Fg Upgrade Utility 6 sp sports auto and I’m wanting to find out if it is factory fitted 6 speed or had a 5 speed swapped out. Can anyone point me in the direction to find this out? I’ve done the ppsr search but that’s not telling me anything. Any help would be much appreciated. If they don't have a record of it, then it's going to be basically impossible to tell without getting first hand experience from the initial purchaser of the vehicle. It's the 4 letter/number code on the inside of the driver's door.

They can send you a verification letter that confirms exactly what options your car had when it was sold.Easier way too as Puff says, but the letter is interesting as it it tells you how many were manufactured in your paint colour, with your factory options, transmission etc

Safe to say it's a 6 speed from factory.

Check the vehicle's documentation, such as the owner's manual or build sheet, for transmission specifications. Additionally, the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) can provide information about the original factory configuration. If unsure, consult a certified mechanic or contact the manufacturer for precise details. They can examine the transmission, identify any modifications, and verify whether the 6-speed is factory-installed or a result of a previous upgrade or swap.
