Hi guys, I have a BA turbo ute which I have recently lowered, the front is 630mm from the top centre of the wheel arch to the ground and the rear is 620mm. Front tyres are Bridgestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 235/40R18 95W, these have been on the vehicle for quite awhile. Rears are Brigdestone Potenza Adrenalin RE003 255/35R18 94W, these are new as I've put wider rims on the rear. But I have noticed quite a marked increase in road noise, is this simply due to the ute being lower to the ground and the noise reverberating through the tray, or is it the tyres, as I say, the front tyres have been on for a few years and were originally the same size on the rear as well with no issue with road noise. Did wonder about chucking an old kapock mattress in the back to try and deaden the noise........any feedback would be greatly appreciated.   Bryan.

You said the rear tyres are new, did the shop balance them? Wouldn't hurt to have a squiz and see if there's new weights stuck in there.
