I bought a brand new one back in 2015 to replace one that dumped coolant when I switched the car off, and it did the same thing. I even tried to warranty it but they were a bunch of pricks and didn't want to refund me. Anyway I ended up getting a Tridon one from supercheap and it's been fine for the past 8 years now.
