Fg turbo skid ABS

Will abs mess with burnouts atall ? Was in third gear doing a stand still today doing a gender reveal and sounded Like back breaks were trying to lock up or something was a romper skid abs light came on is off again now and all is well , just real curios noise to me sounded like the breaks trying to lock onto the rotors ,  , still pulls hard no issues atll after the burnout was just a bit confused at the noise .

You probably just covered the ABS sensor with shredded/melted tyre rubber.

Likely bro it's all sweet now was more curious if it can effect my skid atall like can it make my breaks bite Hard by themselves or anything

Even if it did, you'd just stop/slow-down the skid, not cause any real damage... but of course skidding itself can cause other damage, of which I'm sure you're already aware.

That's what I did mate just stopped when it sounded like it was binding up , only a special accasion thing was pretty cool blue smoke tires haha , 😄  , was just unsure if the abs could cause it to break up mid skid seen I was on the spot , blown a abs fuze under pedal on my na couple years ago easy fix and definitely well aware of the issues that can occur with sending it

I might be wrong, but my guess is the ABS light came on because the system detected a big speed difference between front and rear wheels so assumed a sensor was malfunctioning.

That's absolutely correct bud. Was more trying to see if anyone knew if abs could cause it to try lock up mid skid ? That's what it sounded like anyway so ended up stopping.

You get abs errors on the dyno, no reason the same thing wouldn't happen with a skid.
