Jayden7676 Member 73 Member For: 2y 6m 9d Posted 20/02/23 11:36 AM Share Posted 20/02/23 11:36 AM (edited) My diff has started to make funky noises some times not often but know it's signs of something back there failing . Wanted to replace it and was curious what'd be best option for being smooth but also can put down good power and do a good burn out when I feel like it *twice a year maybe* , was looking at truetrack gear set but no idea on what one to get . 320rkw abouts . Cheers 2009 fg turbo . Edited 20/02/23 11:37 AM by Jayden7676 Just adding sh*t in

They'll all work fine with suitable maintenance at your power level.

Aren't those types a little on the clunky side?

Are you sure it's from the lsd center and not the pinion/ring gear or bearings?Putting a trutrack or wavetrack center won't fix if the latter. Posted 22/02/23 05:23 AM Share Posted 22/02/23 05:23 AM I had a Truetrack fitted on my last Falcon and the new one also has one, every so often - usually after an hours driving - when turning I hear dragging type of sound which I was told was normal for them by a few other Falcon owners at a Cars and Coffee, that I spoke too.
