Picking up the g6et from the stereo shop on Friday morning and heading to Kalbarri.

What's the coast road like?

I'm currently running 20's with 35 profile tyres, bit worried it might be a bit rough, although it survived the trip from Kal to perth

Lol, Kal to Perth = Kalgoorlie to Perth.

Perth to Kal = Perth to Kalbarri.

I drove Kal to Kal today, just over 1000km via wubin/bullfinch.

No problem, lots of roadworks though.

The worst section of the trip yesterday was the great Eastern highway between southern Cross and Coolgardie.
Besides the permanent roadworks at gh00lie, I hit 2 huge waves in the bitumen, both almost pulled the wheel out of my hands.

Brierty contractings cheap work again, I don't know how they passed inspection....

The roads from kalbarri to Wubin were pretty good, Wubin to southern Cross, good but a couple of single lane bitumen sections.

Coast route offers a combination of breathtaking scenery and difficult driving. It is described by forum users as a road with varied road conditions, winding sections, and breathtaking views of the shore. It is well-liked by drivers because it offers a pleasant blend of fast straightaways and tight turns, especially when travelling in a strong vehicle like the XR6 Turbo.
