Is there any more interest in this?

If not I will be asking other car clubs to get to the maximum group numbers?

I'll be finalising dates and all other details by the end of May, and from then I will be taking deposits.

Hi

I did a rough count of the above list - there's around 15 interested in stage 1 & 2.. With a few more maybe's depending on cash flow...

  Quote
Stage 1 = Maximum of 24 drivers

Stage 2 = Maximum of 20 drivers

Stage 3 = Maximum of 18 drivers

Given that stage 2 can take a maximum of 20 people, we only need a few more and we could book 2 days worth of courses - stage 1 & 2 back-to-back. Surely if we turn up with 20 people for 2 days we could attract a decent discount ???

I am interested, but only in stage 3 does he take notice of other driving courses I have done the equivalent of the first 2 but wouldn't mind a cams licence, never know what the future holds.

Cro

I am interested in doing at least 2 stages.

Do you have any further info on dates, costs etc?

My wife and I would be keen to do all 3, though one stage at a time to have time to absorb, assimilate and synthesise what we have learned.

We also have quite a few friends who do not drive XR6s that would be keen.

Safe and happy driving...Dr Z. :spit:

Hi All

I don't mean to hijack this thread - but there were quite a few people that expressed interest, and it's been very quiet lately...

The Australian Academy of Motorsports is holding their next advanced driver training day on Saturday 31st July at Oran Park.

If we can get 20 people together, they are willing to tailor a day to our requirements....

Cost is $295 per person and includes lunch - for more details see their recent post here.

What Brad has offered is to split the day into 2 segments, with a defensive driving component in the morning (braking techniques, swerve & recover, skid control), and high performance (Braking points, apex, entry & exit points etc) in the afternoon.

Given the number of people that expressed interest in the Ian Luff courses over 2 days - what do you think ?

Time is short - to reserve the day and get the type of training that we're after - we would have to book this by the end of the month...

(I have no affiliation with AAMS, and have not attended any of their courses - but their offer to organise a custom program has caught my attention - I have also heard some good reports through word of mouth...)
