Bit more to it than that unfortunately 😋

She's never been a "fast car" person, I have. She loves camping though and so do I, so we can both be happy with a 4x4 and go on adventures together with it. Then it can be a tow car for IMPULSIV3 v2 ;)

I'm young with plenty of time to save for another fast car in the future. Selling it now and growing up a little is probably a good thing lol. Happy wife happy life as they say hahah. But in all seriousness, she's sacrificed a lot in the 5 or so years we've been together, and I feel like its time I make some sacrifices to make her happy. She really wants kids, and a bigger car, and we don't want another loan. We'd be lucky to get 10k for her car, so if we sell mine we can at least get the car she wants that's new, and will be with us for the foreseeable future.

She also doesn't want me to sell the car just to buy hers, its a decision I made. She always joked about it, until I was serious about selling it lol

Yeah man you gotta keep things fair in a marriage. You'll have a bunch of fun in a 4x4 that you can't get with a road car and it's not like you're catching the bus to work xD

16psi most of the time, touches 18 towards the top of 4th :)

400kw was achieved at 18psi in 4th gear.

Yup BP98 :)

Took the car to the Wednesday night drags as a last hurrah! Ford V Expensive Daewoo night meant racing was half price, $40 for the night, can't complain!

Last minute decision with my brother to go, so no real prep for it lol. Let a bit of air out the rears and set the rear shocks a couple clicks tighter than its the softest setting. That was it haha. Cheap chinese tyres hated life. But I went for the sheer fun of it, I wasn't interested in PB's or chasing the best possible numbers. If I was I'd have borrowed a set of semi slicks.

Anyway, did two runs. 12.6 and then 12.3. I really struggled on the launch, mainly because I was being very gentle on the launch. I didn't want to put too much stress on the car seeing as I'm selling it lol. That and the fact I had sh*t tyres meant there wasn't really any point.

What a fun night! So gad I went. Kind of marks the end of the chapter for me with the car. I'm happy I took it down the strip after all this time, money and effort I'd put into the car. Dropped a potato cam quality vid below of the 12.3 pass (downloaded from FB) :)
