My 2003 BA XR6 turbo ute has an H4 plug for the high beam globes. Did all the research and saw that they take an H7, bought some new globes and they fit perfectly in the headlight but went to plug them in and no go. It did have some stuffed HID globes in there before, but they were just jimmied to fit with spade connectors, it looks like this is the original plug. I know some bikes run an adaptor, is this something that Falcons do or has someone just done a really good job of fitting a different plug to my wiring? Cheers, Rob. k31th less WHY; more WOT Site Developer 29,043 Member For: 16y 8m 11d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 09/10/22 05:41 AM Share Posted 09/10/22 05:41 AM The high-beam and low-beam plug is the same shape bit of plastic, just one has 3 pins (the H4 high/low dual filament) and the other only has two pins (the H7 stock one). Obviously somebody has modified that in your car.

The h7 globes I bought have the two prongs closer together than the low/high beams. Maybe I bought the wrong globes. I'll have to recheck. Cheers, mate. There is a genuine adapter that you can buy, seems mine was taken off the plug. Yes I have an H4 plug with two wires in it for the high beam and it's factory, but the plug doesn't fit the h7 globe without the adapter.
