More options are always a good thing for customers and if the pricing is where it should be, it's a win for everyone. 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96814-zf-trans-rebuild-adelaide/page/2/#findComment-1714889 Share on other sites

Maybe in 2 plus years there'll be some good info available and build vids on You Tube etc so blokes like me can reference those to build my own box and have a source for the good frictions and 6R80 hard parts etc, as well as given a step by step on how it all goes together and where the clearances need to be at and what special tools are needed etc etc. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96814-zf-trans-rebuild-adelaide/page/2/#findComment-1714893 Share on other sites

Trans is definitely a lot smoother the way it should be . Also eliminated the slight shunt when coming to a stop. As mentioned previous it was not a rebuild as such, just a 'tickle up' to get it back to being a lot better. Solenoids replaced Connector sleeve Accumulator piston spring set and usual trans service stuff Engine mounts completely shagged-replaced x 2. So a big thanks to Chris at Norwood Auto and I think he did a bloody good job for a great price.... PS =this is coming from an average punter who just loves his cars.....
