Is it due to the fact stock manifold cause a restriction at about 500RWKW

Of course the manifold is a limiting factor with bigger turbos. If you wanna chuck one on then go for it. The g900 would be a good upgrade over stock. Before you buy an expensive turbo, you need to sit down with your builder and tuner and go through your goals and expectations to make sure you're on the right track. You pretty much need a vband manifold to suit, external gate etc

Maybe the 1.01 is workable, but you still need an external wastegate setup. If you modify the stock manifold, it usually doesn't end up that much cheaper than new manifold. Point remains, its not a simple bolt on job with a G series

Not much is truly bolt on, the Falcon stuff is not generic Garrett stuff.

Just saw this, 670 odd kw from G35 1050 (I assume) Looks like its lazy compared to my G35-900. Seems to hold boost a bit better, but similarly looks most efficient around 20psi. Anything will fit if you want it to, although the level of modification will greatly vary. Edit: Haha gotta love those inflated SA hub kw Edited 24/09/22 08:59 AM by Puffwagon Added 10 to 15% to the post
Jacko85 New Member 4 Member For: 9y 3d Posted 24/09/22 11:08 AM Author Share Posted 24/09/22 11:08 AM I am trying to work out my build atm. I am trying to do as much as I can myself and have built engines before. I want good power I have not really set a figure. I would rather 400-450 with good response vs that 1050 in that video that seems laggy then jumps like 450kw in 1000rpm

The turbo you want is a gen 2 gtx3582r. It'll make that power on 98 and will easily make 50 more on E85.
