Hi,  I’ve got some Autometer gauges, there’s a single lot four wires (Red, black, white, orange) to connect to the dash cluster.  Which four wires from the dash cluster should I be using?  There’s contradictory info online so want to check in with this group.   Thanks for your help.

If you're just talking about power, red and black you'd imagine are the power haha at worst white and black... but I don't know for sure off the top of my head. What exactly are you trying to connect "from" and "to"?

You'll need to provide a bit more info on this. Any manuals/wiring diagrams provided?

What gauges are you using?

Gauges need power, ground, and the sensor input at the bare mininum. So that's three of the four wires accounted for.

Some gauges require both constant 12v and acc 12v.

Some have a headlight switch to dim the LEDs

So, my guess is you have power, ground, sender, headlight switch.

Dunno what colour corresponds to what though, you'll need to refer to the installation instructions of the gauges

Ohhhhhh you want to know what wires from the dash you need to splice.

I've linked the FG workshop manual, assuming that's what you have. 700-00 Wiring Diagrams is what you'll be after, page 413-01-00-1, this is the instrument cluster wiring diagram

You'll find the wires you can splice in to, for the four you need.

The colour table for the wires is at the beginning of the document too :)
