Car has a few mods bigger fuel pump, injectors, exhaust, external wastegate, side turbo intake, after market intercooler, and a screamer and is also on 12 psi of boost would love some advice to lead me to the right direction cheers Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96749-boosting-issues-xr6-turbo-ba/ Share on other sites

I'd get it run up on a dyno to check air-fuel ratio's and the relevant tune run-up. Djov132 New Member 7 Member For: 3y 16d Posted 16/07/22 11:16 PM Author Share Posted 16/07/22 11:16 PM @k31th you can definitely hear the popping noise it happens 1 or 3 times while it’s hitting boost and with just hold the revs and won’t go anywhere then 5 seconds later it would boost hard. So you think it’s a tune issue? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96749-boosting-issues-xr6-turbo-ba/#findComment-1713246 Share on other sites

Easy to check and easy to fix. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96749-boosting-issues-xr6-turbo-ba/#findComment-1713248 Share on other sites
