I am interested in getting results from everyone who has done mods to the T post their dyno sheets to so I can compare the different kits on the market and how they make their power.

So If you could post them with a description of the mods.

There is alot of different topics scattered everywhere with peoples dyno sheets but it would be good to have them all at one place.

Junior,

I don't have a "T'" but I have a pretty good result from my XR6 N/A mods that might be worth looking at for some fellow N/A drivers.

1.Redcliffe Dyno developed computer

2.Extractors

3.2.5 inch exhaust

4.K&N Filter

Ink still drying on Dyno sheet.....Mods done today!!

Cheers.

I'll start eh?

Completed today, following readout with mods as follows:

Capa Boost box

Vortech 8:1 FMU

Rear Resonator removed from Exhaust.

UniFilter Rampod

2nd XR8 Cold Air Mod

Blue line is 2nd gear, Red line is 3rd.

As you can see boost is at around 9-10 PSI

Car was dynoed on the same dyno last saturday, minus Capa kit @ 192rwkw. (Has done 202rwkw before)

For interests sake this run was done without the fan going, to test it while hot. Didn't have time to let it cool and run it again with the fan going, so expect a bit more with air flowing over the intercooler, and intake.

What's it like to drive? It's an animal... When that boost comes on it scares the begeezus out of me, and thrills me to bits, all at once. AWESOME.

ExAreSix,

what is the purpose of dynoing the car in second and third gears?

Third should be the gear to dyno it in as it is closest to 1:1. I am not sure, but it might be exactly 1:1. This is what all dyno sheets should show. Max kw in other gears is not correct.

Third is 1:1 in the autos, yes.

And yes, your 1:1 ratio gives the most accurate reading, and so that's the gear to use.

It was run up in 2nd first for comparisons sake, and also to get some heat into the motor.

Should have seen the torque reading for second gear... Up around 850Nm when boost hits, at around 2500 rpm. Crazy. :banghead:

OwnaXR6T have you got a dyno sheet you can post as I am interested in comparing power curves and not the the max power although it is also a great result.

It doesn't matter what gear you use - the dyno measures tractive effort at the drums and diff ratios, tyre sizes, gear ratios are irrelevant in the way it calcultes power.

Max power figures are great, but what I would REALLY like to see is the torque curves, I mean, torque is what gets used on a daily basis. Anyone got torque graphs?

Anyone got a torque graph comparing their modded result to their stock motor?
