I went to Automotive Performance Specialists (APS) for my servicing (33 New St, Frankston just around the corner from former PitLane which had an auction sign up).  They did a fantastic job.  Just a major service, but asked to tighten manifold bolts (several were loose so just as well) and changed out brake fluid (as well as the engine oil change).  Umm the also went one step better and washed and vacuumed my car   So big shout out to Jack Whittley there - willing to have a knowledgeable chat about stuff.  Was pretty reasonable as well hip pocket wise, much less than what I expected and what I used to pay at PitLane (which is all I have to compare with).

They can maintain an XCAL tune but prefer to tune with other laptop based tool but I forgot the name. Jack was telling me the other tool allows you to select the tunes with the steering wheel paddles and quick as which is pretty convenient when you need to go back to stock because there is no 98 RON nearby.  There's also a tune that allows rolling acceleration, something about keeping the revs up until you need them activated by pressing some other re-purposed buttons (don't remember which ones).

Rab put me onto them, some nice rides sitting in their yard and in their super clean workshop.

Definitely will make the effort to go there again for my services.  Nizpro does not do Servicing anymore, they focus more on speed boat motors now.

Yeah, will be having a chat with them about it soon.

Meant to be able to do a flex fuel thing - LPG/ULP without having to pull out the X-Cal

In your case you would use a multi tune to swap between lpg and 98. You use the cruise control button to activate tune switching, then you go up or down to select up to 4 separate tunes. The flex stuff is designed to blend two tunes together when you have varying ethanol concentrations.

Great to hear the positive experience at APS. I already had my car booked there next week to get my issues fixed. Change head gasket and rear main seal, service the zf, new rear rotors and pads. After all that then run up on the dyno for a health check on the tune pitlane did about 12 years ago.

After all that she should be right for the next 12 years!

Are you interested in joining us on the Snowy Cruise in November slash?  k31th is keen.  When I last spoke with Rab he was interested as well.  I posted up in the NSW cruise section.

I just realised that APS gave my car the full on beauty treatment down to my jock straps if you know what I mean - not only was it washed and shined, they blacked out my tyres as well ... the equivalent of a finger nail polish treatment :roflmbo:
