MATT

Doesnt say what the meeting time is at the old toll gates :banghead:

Correct.

Only posted what Andrew sent to me. I am assuming that exact details are still to be finalised, and that the first post is a work in progress. Stay tuned :k24t:

Count me in + 1 Please.

I think I might try and find somewhere to stay in Sydney town friday night as driving all the way up there from Wagga will kill me :P

Just thought I'd upload a map of the lower hunter valley that I've scanned.

If not wanted, mods can delete if apporpriate.

Looking forward to this cruise. So far away. :Welcome2FordXR6t:

How much $$$ do you think we should budget for the weekend? 3 or 400 should be able to suffice before fuel? Work pays for my fuel so I'm not entirely fussed over that part, just the copious amounts of alcohol and hotel expensis

Although for me and mish it will be a little more expensive staying in sydney for the Friday night. just a general idea would be great.

Accommodation:

At the moment, I am yet to confirm this. There are two distinctly unique

opportunities that we have, and as soon as I have checked them out I will give

details. The problem is that there are barely any places that allow a one night

stay. Most charge for a min 2 night stay. Budget for about $70 per person at

this stage, and I will see if I can do better. If this is out of anyone’s

budget, please let me know by private message or email, and I will look at other

options. This area has become very popular with well to do Sydneysiders looking

for an escape and the prices unfortunately reflect that.

Dankman,

Its in the first post. There may be a small charge for the wineries (maybe 10 big bananas) but this will be confirmed shortly.

Only expenses on top of that is what you eat, and what you drink :sofa:

The first post will be constantly updated with info for the weekend from here on, so everyone keep an eye on it for fresh info :Welcome2FordXR6t:

Hi All,

I am travelling to the Hunter right now so I will report later tonight on the accomodation details so we can all start budgeting.

Could the appropriate people please update me with firm figures for the other events on the itinery. Then we can give people a firm cost for the weekend, less fuel, brakepads, tyre wear and loss of income due to being part of one of Australias biggest XR6Turbo.com piss-ups!

Andrew (who strangely enough, doesn't drink!)
