There is an optimax Shell servo and Singleton. Do we go that far north on Sunday?

One thing to think about is Petrol. Finding PULP up there from one of the company owned servos ain't easy. If someone knows where the company owned Shell or Mobil stations are in Cessnock, then we should note that on the maps. Otherwise, I'll call my inlaws (they live in Cessnock) or the oil companies and find out.

Doing a quick search of the fuel company websites came up with the following stations with minimum 95 RON....

BP:

* Beresfield: Top of F3 Freeway (only servo with BP Ultimate near cruise route)

* Cessnock: 120 Allendale Rd

* Maitland: Cnr New England Hwy & Alexandra Ave

* Singleton: 53 George St

CALTEX:

* Cessnock: 105 WOLLOMBI RD

* Maitland: 8 MITCHELL DRV or CNR NEWCASTLE RD & WILLIAM ST

* Singleton: New England Hwy [top of McDougals Hill]

* Wyong: F3 FREEWAY [North & South]

MOBIL:

* Berowra: 965-969 PACIFIC HWY (Mobil 8000 only)

* Maitland: 250 NEWCASTLE RD

* Singleton: 59 JOHN ST

* Toronto: CNR CARY & THORNE ST (Mobil 8000 only)

SHELL (Optimax only):

* Maitland: CNR HIGH ST & SMITH ST

* Singleton: 69-73 GEORGE ST

That's just from a quick search of towns I know of in our cruise area. There may be others floating around that I didn't recognise....

hmmmm...baby spice gives me night mares....LOTR I'm sure will be plastered all over the walls...so I think I'll just play it safe and bring my Britney pj's...they even come come complete with hair bands and everything!!!

Ok, so I'll tell you what ... seeing it's a very special occasion and if you promise never to tell anyone else ... you can slip into a cute little "pippin" outfit (just happen to have one laying about), including hairy glue-on hobbit feet and we can explore the Mines of Moria together.

We can't stay out too long though, cause we've got a big day on Saturday and it starts to get a little weird in the mines after dark ....
