I took the spoiler off an noticed the factory foam sealers ( between the spoiler and boot lid ) had deteriorated. I pulled them off and made some custom rubber gaskets ( from a spare bike tube ) to give it a 100% seal , with no chance off leaking again. I had a look inside the boot lid and noticed this ( see attached photo ).............the rubber grommet in the photo is ( 1 of the 2 ) located at the very bottom of the boot lid for reference, usually the drain plugs. It's shiny in the photo due to spraying some fish oil..... Is this some kind of sealant from factory or is it rust...............? Just scratch it a little and it'll probably be obviously different to sealant if it is rust.
