Ive got a turbo bf head which my builder said is to badly worn . my question is are all the cylinder heads from Na to turbo the same ?? I know the valves are different in the turbos . But are the castings the same ? My damaged turbo head casting numbers are - 3r23 - 6090- ac and I’ve just gotten a low k bf gas cylinder head with the same casting numbers - 3r23 - 6090- ac , the only thing that looks different with the two side by side is the turbo one has a cross / X pattern shape on the front of the alloy casting where the Na one is just smooth . Are the Na heads fine to use on a turbo application with upgrading the valves and valve springs of course .
