Just another point of view, I have run both the xede and Unichip in my T and IMHO the Unichip is the far superior product as far as everyday driving of the car and performance driving go. Start up is much easier and the little gremlins that I had while running the Xede (Stalling and missing problems) have not occured once since swapping to the unichip, power and torque are also up. The Unichip which suits the 94 to 00 wrx suits many different cars/ecu applications. The later model wrx (01 on) has a very unique ignition system (crank sensor and trigger) and there fore that model Unichip is specific to the 01 wrx onwards only as of now.The C version Unichip not only suits the xr6t and all Ford V8's, it has many other applications such as Toyota and other Japanese cars.I believe it would be virtually impossible and certainly not cost effective for any one model of interceptor computer to handle all of the different ignition systems that are frequently utlised today. I trust this clarifies your comments regarding application of Unichip computers. PeterAPS
