I have noticed that beanches are on the East side and even NZ but we miss out in WA. Guest dingah Guests Posted 02/04/04 09:17 PM Share Posted 02/04/04 09:17 PM Stage 1 APS fitted - brilliant. Smoother idle and if you don't use it all the time even bettter fuel consumption. If in or near ACT go see the boys at Ming Auto at Fyshwick - darn professional, know the puffin and blowin business extremely well, they really care and enjoy their work and it's fun to see what they are up to next. Thanks guys........I'll be b...a..c..k!! :banghead: Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/9642-aps-xr6-turbo/page/5/#findComment-107745 Share on other sites
Guest dingah Guests Posted 03/04/04 03:26 AM Share Posted 03/04/04 03:26 AM I similarly have an APS Unichip fitted by the great folk at Ming auto and couldn't be happier Smoother idle, torque all the way from low down, unbelievable urge that seems to go on forever, better fuel consumption if it's driven softly and all very low key in terms of sight and sound - terrific.Any doubts, concerns or thoughts - talk the boys at Ming auto Fyshwick, they understand and delight in the technology and have done some REALLY interesting stuff to a range of blown and unblown motors. A very professional bunch and a great car. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/9642-aps-xr6-turbo/page/5/#findComment-107844 Share on other sites

They are a good bunch of blokes and very enthusiastic when it comes to working on the xr6t. Would be excellent to get some more feedback from you after you put some more kms on the car. By the way what premium fuel do you use around the Canberra area and what do find works best in your T? Guest dingah Guests Posted 04/04/04 04:06 AM Share Posted 04/04/04 04:06 AM Sorry about the multiple entries - one was a draft which became the victim of finger trouble and ended up on the system instead of being deleted. Peter - I try and use Optimax or the Caltex stuff; hard to tell any difference in performance - that said, I'm not going around the nation's capital on full boost either. The nice thing about the mod is it's transparent to the user and doesn't make the car at all tempremental - if anything its smoother low down - in all, a very tractable option which makes the T a true Grand Tourer. Dingah Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/9642-aps-xr6-turbo/page/5/#findComment-108055 Share on other sites
