I’m looking to buy this fg turbo and noticed that it had a grey rocket cover which unusual to me because usually they are only on the n/a models. I was wondering if they also came with the turbos or if it has been turbo converted

no, the stock XR6T's all have a red rocker cover... it's highly likely it has been turbo-converted or somebody has thrown a cheap N/A engine in after grenad'ing the original one.

just ask to see the engine number (on the actual engine block under the exhaust manifold on the sump) and compare it to the one on the vehicle identification plate and if it's different, you'll know the engine has been swapped... it sounds too dodgy to me, based on your description.

No need man... grey rocker cover means it's either had an engine swap or a rocker cover swap (which is unlikely) check the engine numbers.... if it started life as a turbo and now has a NA engine in it.... I wouldn't be buying unless it's dirt dirt cheap..

its more likely to be an NA which has had turbo gear thrown onto it...
