I’ve got a 2.5” xforce catback, what do yous think remove middle muffler or get pacemaker headers and cat ?

I dont see the point on a n/a to do extractors and cats but its a expensive way to go about it if you want more noise.

Yeh I was gonna do that and tune but reading a couple threads not a point in the n/a I’ll save for a turbo, also what do u think about maybe getting the mid muffler of a xforce2.5 cut in terms of sound

If you are staying N/A the extractors and cats are about best thing to change for more power/torque. The rest of the exhaust should be fine, dont go crazy on size.

I’ve got a 2.5” xforce catback I like the sound but it could be a bit louder, I’m asking is it worth doing the rest of the kit (100 cat, headers) or just strait piping the middle muffler in 2.5

If you want a little bit more power then do the headers as well and maybe the cats. The catback wont make any more power but is louder, I would leave both mufflers in so there is no drone and the headers will make it a little bit louder anyway.

I’ve heard some people once putting in the high flow cat + headers the car tries to go into limp mode is this true or if I get xforce headers + will I be able to run it without a tune?

its kinda a waste of coin tbh

 

add the costs up for extractors/cats/tune ? and work out if all that seems worth it just for a bit of noise.

get my point? 

 

if its just noise you want 50 bux and a shop will cut a muffler out.

Yeh I was leaning towards that more mate, if I cut middle muffler will it sound tinny drone and such or will it sound alright with a catback system already on
