There will be a little bit of shaft play and there will be a little bit of noise. Sometimes you can hear the turbo winding down when you get out of the car after you switch it off. I had a look at the new oil feed fitting to the turbo and it has approx 1mm bore hole in the end! It’s full bore hole on the tapered end but on the other end is restricted.
