Maybe I'm getting old...

Yeah you are you old fark There's a guy at work in his mid 60s that launches his car, stone cold and snaps second like the clutch is an on/off button, every time he leaves work. But yeah, loving the Honda right now with it's sub $50 a week commute. $35 a day was a bit much last week!

I take pride in the black lines it leaves everywhere, and the disturbance it causes the local neighbourhood haha

It looks like I belong in the 300 club for a daily drive that will keep me happy enough and not break everytime I give it some When I'm able to I can turn it into a 400+ weekend car. Probably means I should get good parts for my 300+ build so that it isn't a long way to go in the future. Maybe even build it up to handle 450kw but tune it to 350ish. I had a leaking gasket so when the head was out to replace the gasket I decided to do valve springs, head studs and oil pump. It's an FG so maybe wasn't totally necessary but I figured I may as well while the head was off. It's been machined now and I also was told to replace my stock exhaust valves cause they were no good apparently. Mechanic couldn't find any replacement exhaust valves so he fabricated a larger set instead. He reckons that's a good thing for the future. Guys I don't really know what I'm doing to be honest, bought the car 2 months ago and it's been at the mechanic for at least a month because the coolant kept exploding after I went up hills (replaced the reservoir tank so hopefully that solves that). When the mechanic took a look he saw a lot of leaking from the head as well. I can't wait to get it back all sorted and hopefully now I'll be a lot closer to building some reliable power
