I have both my original keys & and a transponder remote.. whats the best way to go about it.. can I just unscrew the whole ignition barrel/steering lock unit and replace with one from the wreckers or do I have to do the whole column or what and if I do get the whole column (with keys) am I able to programme the keys myself?any ideas? Any help appreciated thanks!!!

Or possibly even take a new ignition barrel to the locksmith and have him make him align it to fit my original keys??
