fg Best Exhausts for NA

Gday,

bought a FG XR6 N/A a little while ago, was going to buy a cat back exhaust and wondering on everyone's thought on the best sounding for the N/A. I heard that a 3" doesn't sound good and 2" isn't loud enough soo I was going to go a 2.5" but thought id ask for opinions

2.5 is plenty enough for an N/A and the sound depends totally on the metal in use and the size/shape of the mufflers.... what sort of sound are you actually after?

 

I was happy with an x-force cat-back on an N/A back in the day of N/A driving (2006ish)

yeah ok. I didn't want a "wet fart" sound sort of a loud nice sound but not too loud I was going to get a custom exhaust made but do you think xforce would be fine?

go to your exhaust shop and get a custom one made from cat-back if you're concerned an x-force might be too loud (they should be able to tell you if it is or not or maybe even tell you an option that's not too loud). The x-force varies a bit but is reasonably loud as it's intended to be a considerable sound upgrade over stock.
